I have the album I-Empire by Angels and Airwaves, and it seems that every day I go to play music from WMP that album's album art replaced some other random album. I go to the folder containing the songs and sure enough the image files from I-Empire's album art are there. I delete these files (which are always the only files in the folder, meaning that they overwrote the old files) and then refresh the library page. The original album art to the overwritten album is restored.
