Hi,I'm a new member here and i'm having problems with Windows Media Player.

When I try to watch a DVD on WMP,The sound is good, but the picture skips every few seconds.

I fixed this once by uninstalling some programs, but this time it didnt work.

Can somebody please help me?

What programs did you uninstall? What are your computer specs (i.e Processor, memory)?

Specs:
AMD Sempron(tm) Processor
3300+
2.00 GHz. 512 MB of RAM

i uninstalled some random items that i never used and it seemed to work fine

Try lowering the hardware acceleration

If you don't know how to do this:
1. Right click the mouse, and select "properties"
2. Click on the "Settings" tab and then click "Advanced"
3. Click on the "Troubleshoot" tab, and then lower until you
get better video quality.

Try updating your windows media player to the new windows media player 11 that has fixing a few problems for me in the past.
