Windows NAT port forward question

By tgreaves
Jan 7, 2008
  1. I want to forward remote desktop thru my windows server 2003 datacenter edition server.. I wanted to use port 443 from the outside and have it redirect to 3389 on the inside.. I put in the parameters for port forwarding and it says that 443 is already a defined service..

443 is used for HTTPS but im not using https on this machine.. How can I get this to work?

BTW, im using 443 because I want to connect to my machines at home from work and our firewall will only allow certant outgoing ports, 443 is one of them..
