Windows Needs To Close?

I have a problem with my pc. Everytime i open a folder a dialogue box appears saying: WINDOWS EXPLOYER HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. etc... send report or dont send.

What can i do to stop this problem? is it serious that it keeps happening?

Also this happens for any folder i open. even if i create a new folder N open it.

Explorer is corrupted, the best way to fix this if you can't is to re-install the OS again. There is a fix you can find on the net to fix a setting in the registry, but it's better to blow out the OS and re-install it.

any other way than that. will this problem affect my mobo or hd if not i can deal wit it.

Like I had said you can try the registry fix, just search on google for the error you get with Explorer. I had the same thing happen a few months ago on one of my PCs. I did end up blowing the OS and starting again...
