windows os not found

help =[ i just used dban to wipe my hdd but then now when my laptop turns on, it says windows os not found. the recovery disc wont boot either even after i changed the bios setting to boot from the cd drive.
how can i fix this?

clean install means format the partition and install the windows xp

im sorry for asking so many questions...so basically are you saying to get a windows xp disc? because the windows xp disc, i remember when booting up, it asks to format the partition first before it installs windows xp. is that right?
