  1. ok i guess ill start with the whole story. ok so i had a motherboard that only supported DDR memory and i thought for some reason DDR2 would fit so i put in in and powered it up and fried the mother board sent it back and got a new mobo same type and new 2gb DDR sticks and i put it in the case and turned it on and it kept giving me NT/SYSTEM AUTHORITY shutdowns and someone reccomended i reinstall windows so i did, but before that i ran killdisk so i could completely reformat and halfway through the installation a blue error screen comes up saying somthing like 0X00000013 memory blah blah couldent be read and installation was aborted and it tells me to restart and try again and i have several times so now im thinking its a harddrive issue? ahh someone please help.

insert the Xp CD, boot from it, let it find the partition.
delete the partition and let it reformat itself.

    install will proceed normally
