ok i guess ill start with the whole story. ok so i had a motherboard that only supported DDR memory and i thought for some reason DDR2 would fit so i put in in and powered it up and fried the mother board sent it back and got a new mobo same type and new 2gb DDR sticks and i put it in the case and turned it on and it kept giving me NT/SYSTEM AUTHORITY shutdowns and someone reccomended i reinstall windows so i did, but before that i ran killdisk so i could completely reformat and halfway through the installation a blue error screen comes up saying somthing like 0X00000013 memory blah blah couldent be read and installation was aborted and it tells me to restart and try again and i have several times so now im thinking its a harddrive issue? ahh someone please help.

insert the Xp CD, boot from it, let it find the partition.
delete the partition and let it reformat itself.

install will proceed normally

yeah i did that and when i got the the install screen i pressed install and it started going and the error popped up. do you have a list of detailed instructions in case im doing somthing wrong?
