Windows Update Crashing

Hi can any one help me iam having trouble loading windows update,
Right here the problem.
I open the windows update and normal the page used to load but at the min it dont load one bit no error message it just crashed and freeze's up and dont diplay any thing iam just left with a blank screen and nothink else and the web page is un touchable can press refresh or any thing in the end i have to click the arrow and press end task. Also in my control panel > security > windows update i cant press that to see if i can change how i can update it eg download. and ask me to install bla bla you know all that. Can any one help me ive got rid of all offline cookie and history and still no luck thanks i will make me please if some one can come up with a answer thanks

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Have you checked your system for viruses etc?

Go HERE and follow the instructions in the order they are given.

Post a fresh HJT log into this thread, only after doing the above.

If it turns out not to be virus related, we`ll have to look at other possible causes.

Well i never all the thing you told me to do worked iam normaly good at keeping my computer infected free but this time maybe not. Yea update works now i think it was spwware more than anything but thanks you

I`d still like you to post a HJT log, just so I can see if your system is really clean.
