For the past month I've been getting random shutdown errors such as "Windows power service terminated unexpectedly" about 3 times now and the "Windows will shutdown in 1 minute" error had just happened today. At first I thought it was my PC because I just built one in like January, and thought I just had a weird/defected power supply or something, but I let it go until it happened again. This is when I was very curious and googled why this was happening, and it turns out it was some kind of virus, possibly a script that just does these shutdowns. The good thing is as far as I know is that no personal information and highly-valued accounts of mine were hacked? I'm not sure as to what this virus does but all I know is it shuts down my PC randomly and my PC has been starting up slower than usual recently. I've seen a lot of tech assistants from various websites that helped with this issue with a personalized guide. I would really appreciate the help if I could get this virus removed from my computer, because one person I read had to unfortunately re-install Windows which is a bummer. Thanks if someone could assist me! Edit: If an assistant replies to this thread I won't be working out this issue until tomorrow (03/23/14).
