    I currently bought :
    DDR 256MB|APCR PC2100
    HD 40GB|SEAGATE
    CPU AMD|2400/266 ATHLON XP THRTON
Asus nForce 220-D Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU, Model "A7N266-VM AA"(
and while installing i get past the formating part of the hard drive, but when it reboots and loads the startup screen goes past that it does not reach the 2nd screen just goes to blue and then reboots. Is it a bad power supply? or ram? or is it in the bios?

can you post the message on the bluescreen? it might help diagnose the problem.

    its a blank screen

The blue screen is blank, its not like a bsod. at first it says loading windows xp then flickers to a blank screen which is blue. Loads for a minute then reboots.
