Windows XP FREQUENT stop errors of all kinds!

  1. hey guys
I have a big problem with windows XP at the moment. Everytime i run a game, any game, windows exits to a BSOD (blue screen of death) that most of the time shows "MACHINE_CHECK_EXEPTION" but have had "Kernel_apc_pending_During_exit" while shutting down and also "Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_area" on one occasion it said "nv4_disp.dll" in it which is a file in the nvidia drivers.

I have narrowed it down to either the power supply or something wrong with the graphics card because i have tryed several drivers from the nvidia site and i got 2 for the specific card series from the card manufacturer website (MSI).

The card is an MSI nvidia 6600 256mb
    cpu AMD athlon xp +2000
    powersupply is 240watt
2 hds and wireless lan card.

Help would be highly apresiated thanks.
