Windows XP keeps randomly rebooting, so aggravating

    I am running: Win XP Media Ctr Version 2002 Service Pack 2 Intel Pent M 2ghz. I don't know if you need this info.

    Is this laptop still under warrenty? if so, they need to take a lok at it and fix it.

    No...unfortunately not. I have had it about 2 1/2 years. doh! Is there anything else you would suggest? Should I take it to a repair facility? If so, are there any you would recommend? Thank you again for your time & patience. :)

    Do the following three things:

    1. Run MemTest just to see if you might have faulty RAM.

    2. Run a full harddrive diagnostics.

    3. Disable Norton and tell us if that brings stability.
