why would you be prompted to enter your key code? have you installed some program recently?

    Windows XP

I reinstalled my whole system today, I was prompted like usual to enter the key code for windows xp to activate it via internet. Well i put the code in and it came back telling me that it is an incorrect code and that I have 30 days to activate. Where can i find a generated key code to work?

If you copy of Windows XP is legit, phone Microsoft.

If not, you wont get any help here.

if you significantly alter or change your hardware. XP will assume you are installing on a new system. You have to call M$ to get a new code.

If you have a P1rate copy, you're not welcome here.
