Windows XP Laptop will not boot from Recovery Disk (again)

  1. Hello,
So I was on this board last week trying to get my Toshiba Satellite laptop running XP again after getting a "disk read error occurred press ctrl+alt+del to restart" error message. After some very patient and courteous help was offered it was determined that my hard drive was dead.
Not a big deal, this comp hardly contains sensitive/critical data, so I bought a new hard drive and everything worked fine for a few days, until this morning when I got BSOD and the comp shut down. Now I'm getting an "Operating System Not Found" Message when I boot from the hard drive. I've tried the recovery disk again, but once I get to "Press (C) to continue. Press (A) to Abort" I press C and nothing happens. The cursor blinks and that's it.
I tried running a Drive Fitness Test on it, and it tells me it cannot find any devices.

Now I'm not sure what to do. Any help greatly appreciated (again).

    Thanks,
    -Shawn

Just bumping this to see if anyone can help. I've noticed a lot of views but no replies.
    Am I providing enough info?
