    Windows XP pro constant start/restart loop

    I have a problem at hand with Windows XP pro SP2 - computer starts and restarts automatically without allowing me to logon or go in a safe mode. I can only go in a BIOS. What kind of problem this may be. My computer did not have any norton or mcafee on it due to 256Mb RAM. I installed adware. Please help if you have any ideas.

    ummmmm...........You do not have a antivirus or firewall due to only having 256 ram. Its possible that you downloaded a virus since you did not protect your system.
    You need to install your windows installtion disk and then try to run the repair console. CHKDSK /F /R.
