Windows XP resets for no apparent reason

  1. hello
    i run a winxp sp2,
    1.5ram
    intel p4 2600 with HT
    ati 1650 pro 512mb

    my computer restarts for no apparent reason everyone in a while
    it can happen during the night while the computer is idle
    although it seems it happens faster during game play
    it can take anything form 15 minutes to 10 hours unril it restarts

    help would be appreciated

    the most common cause of what you are describing is ram that is going bad. download memtest and test your ram.

    nope :(

    i have already thought of that
    i have already ran memtest 1.7
    overnight
    no errors, not a single one
    my ram is brand new

    also
    i followed those guides
    ran speedfan 4.32
    voltages seems to be fine for psu
    one thing is amiss

    temp3: is on 62 degress c. but i dont knwo what it is, im guessing that is hot

    both by logic and the little flame icon next to it :)

    and i dont have a minidump folder
