Windows XP Restarting: STOP: 0x0000008E

  1. Hi a few days ago my computer started acting strange and restarting for no reason so I reformatted it and reinstalled XP Professional and it's started doing the same thing. I get this on the Blue Screen:

    ***STOP:0x0000008e (0xc000001d, 0x80598330, 0xf39d733c, 0x00000000)

It seems to happen when I go on YouTube sometimes but that's the only time when I can remember what I was doing when it happens.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Alex :D

0x8E errors are almost always caused by hardware issues. The question at this point is what hardware? We don't really any information to go on.

Please give your system specs. Also, read this very important link and follow the advice. Let us know if you resolve your issues.
