    I need to increase the default number of shares on a windows XP installation. Does anybody know a workaround to increase the default number of shares you can create on windows XP proffesional?

    AS far as i know 10 is the max number of connections you can have to any one pc using XP pro or w2k pro...you will need to buy a windows server OS(2003, w2k, or NT) or else spread the shares between a number of machines
