Solved Windows XP system slowing down.....a lot

Go ahead and get SP3 first. It's more important.

Hey. Sorry for the B I G delay. I am on Service Pack 3 now and all cleaned up etc. But things are still a bit sluggish.
I am extremely grateful that you have got me to do all the cleanup as it can only be good. Before I go, is there anything else you can suggest. I will physically clean (vacuum) the PC in case it's choking on dust, but if you can think of anything else, that would be great. Thanks again. Donation on the way.

Never use vacuum cleaner to clean computer's case interior. It creates static electricity which can damage electronic components.
Always use a can of compressed air.

XP is 14 years old operating system so if you never reinstalled Windows it'll get little bit sluggish over time.
There is not much you can do about it.
