Windows XP taskbar hanging

I have seen the same thing with Win 2k and XP, on a PC with a 1400 Athlon XP and 512mb of ram, 64mb 3d card, for win 2k service pack 2 seemed to stop the hanging when doing something on the taskbar, I assume XP has the same problem, bugged O/s as usual

I have found this difficulty in Windows XP when using the Winamp 3 Beta... are you using one of those?
