Windows XP won't boot anymore!

Widows XP Pro

Will not boot up. HP Pavillion
get blue HP screen as normal........Windows XP screen comes up as normal.....After about 10 secs, blank screen.........Hard drive continues to bink ( yellow light)....after 10-15 sec nothing. Tried all options on safe mode....no work
can not find recovery disk
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boot into safe mode and trry defragmentation.
