After the last Windows XP update, I get this message that my copy is counterfeit.
I have no keyloggers on my system, up to date virus scanner (Norton), have another up to date scanner for popups, adware and other malware - all say clean. I paid full price for my copy and have the laser label etc to back that up. This is the second time this has happened to me! (Which is why I took all the extra precautions this time!)
Someone out there must be generating XP product keys of getting them from software before it reaches the customer. Has anyone else had this problem?
If they insist it's me this time and demand I buy another new copy I'm going to consumer affairs and the media.
