winxp won't standby

i need help here, i use winxp SP2, and everytime i want to standby, it will crash so i have to push reset button to restart.

this problem occured both in my athlon thunderbird 1.2 (before upgrade) and my athlon 64 3000+ (my present PC).anybody can help me? thank you.
