wireless adapter compatibilities

  1. Is there anything I need to pay attention to spec-wise when choosing a wireless pci adapter? Do all adapters generally work with all wireless routers/hubs?

I have a westell versalink 327 if it makes a difference. Its a dsl modem/router with a wireless interface.

    Hi
Wouldn't hurt to ask the modem maker what cards work best. Other than that get a card that uses the same speed as the router, B, G, N, etc....

Do that for obvious reasons... That's like using 2 diffrent kind of RAM on a mobo that doesnt even support either :haha:
