I have a Toshiba Satellite hooked up to my wireless on my pc upstairs. I have no trouble with the pc, but the laptop connection to the internet can't seem to stay connected once I walk away from it. I have tried finding settings to extend the time, but can't find anything within the properties of the connection. Is there somewhere else that addresses this problem? Please help....thanks

Sounds like your just loosing signal with your router, have you tried repositioning your router?

Move the router to the top of a book case ie: get it as high in the room as
possible and OFF the floor. Consider swapping the router for a MIMO router
(meaning Multiple In/Multiple Output anntennas) as they have more signal strength.

You might also temporarily turn off encryption to see if you can retain the connection.
Close the lid on the laptop before you move it -- when you get upstairs open
and see if you can reconnect.

Thanks very much! I'll try these things and see if it helps.

I would say put the router in the corner of the house near windows on the first floor if you can do that? Then aim the ANT into the house
