wireless modem help

I just bought a wireless phone with a builtin wireless modem in it....

i was wondering how does it works...please can anyone tell me???

Actually the real problem i am having with are the p2p softwares...
error says that either a firewall is blocking the ports or a router..although
i turned off my firewall but it wont work.and i dnt know wat to do with router settings??i am so much confused


can anyone help me??

You need to open up the ports being used by your p2p software in the router setup page. What type of router do you have?

for the ports but it wont work.....

I just bought a laptop computer on ebay now im trying to go wireless and it wont connect to the internet. A message is saying that i am unplugged but im not. Please help.
