Hi,

I have a belkin wireless network router that up until I had to format....was working GREAT. Since then....the network cant find the IP address. I have reinstalled the drivers, hardware and all that stuff many times but still wont work properly.

It does however find the IP address occassionally and it lets me connect to the net but then it loses it again.

I have been trying to setup the TCP\IP address manually but it wants the DNS and WINS addresses...where do I find these?

I am running Win XP home edition.

This is so frustrating......I dont know enough about it to fix it.

Can anyone give me any suggestions to solve this problem?plain english would be great........

Thanks

The DNS address is the same as the gateway - the router IP. You do not need WINS.
