  1. I've got my computer sharing a cable internet connection using a Linksys Wireless Broadband router. The model is BEFW11S4.
I installed a Linksys Wireless PCI Adapter (WMP54G) and it seemed to work just great.
The only problem is downloading files.

It will start to download them just fine, but then it freezes the download. The downloads can't be resumed either. Any ideas?
I'm running Windows XP Home with an AMD XP 2000+, 768mb ram and plenty of HD space.

    Thanks in advance.

may be the cause of the aborted download........resume downloads with a manager of some sort...........download manger/flash get/ gozilla etc. to resume

You are aware that you bought he Wireless 54G network card to work on the 802.11B network. It will work but it could be part of the problem. I'd try reinstalling the drivers for the network card.
