with his wireless 1450 from dell.
the wireless works, but maybe i have to do something on his pc?

so your fine, but your friend can't connect to your router.

the setting from your router will be necessary to allow your friend to make a
connection. You need (document for future reference):

1) the SSID of your router
2) the type of encryption you are using (WEP,WPA,WPA2)
3) and the encryption key.

Your friend then uses My Network Places-->setup Wireless Network
and enters the info from above.

acquiring network adress problem

acquiring network adress problem, it doesnt go trough..
which be the problem, for wireless network?

If this happens then the security credentials you are supplying arent correct or are being passed to the router incorrectly.

Go back and check, if you have a profile created for your network then delete it and recreate it.

There are 2 stages to getting connected to a wireless network

1) finding the network and asking for permission to join it.
2) being granted permission and obtaining an IP address.

You could try setting a manual IP address in the same range as the router supplies, if this works then their is something wrong with the DHCP side of things, I have found however that even if you set a manual IP and your credentials are wrong you may still show as connected to the router but you wont be able to get out to the internet.

Regards
