Wireless router compatibility

  1. Hi, im planning on buying a wireless router, and this is the one i have in mind. I need to know whether this pci card will be compatible with it so i can run the net all over my house :).

    Here are the links:

    Yes. They're both IEEE 802.11g and so will be fine. A modem/router is a better option as it cuts out any problems interfacing with you modem.

    If possible, consider network devices from a more serious manufacturer than Belkin. Linksys, Netgear, SMC, D-Link, Intel are some I can recommend off the top of my head.

    No problems in 18 months with my Belkin modem/router.

    thanks guys, could you recommend another package (if netgear/linksys are better) pref with a pc adaptor either USB or PCi card. (UK)

    I'd suggest PCI card, otherwise you are counting on 2 technologies to get the job done.
