WOF: What was the first graphics card you ever owned?

I think it was a S3 virge 1mb or maybe 2mb it was in my 386 25mhz with a turbo boost button lol The computer was running an operating system called Geoworks, which the guy at the computer shop told me was going to take over the world and blow windows out of history. Think I has a couple of pinball games and maybe some kind of racing game.

Cant remember what I had in my next system but I was playing games like Keen, Wolfenstien, leisure suit larry, Man United Football.

I then upgraded every couple of years until present and at the moment I'm running a GTX560 Ti

About 7 years ago, I had a Pentium 4 with GeForce 6200 LE 128MB. Played games like NBA Live 06, COD2.

My first was a Matrox with 8mb of VRAM. I was actually really happy with it looking back.

Since then I've had: GeForce 2 (64mb), GeForce FX5200, GeForce 7500 GT, GeForce 210, Palit GeForce GTX 650 TI...and my now current EVGA GeForce GTX 660 TI FTW+ 3GB.

I did switch out my 7500 GT once for an ATI card and everything just went to pot so I switched back. Never thought about ATI since that.

Voodoo Banshee!!! all the way ! rocked CS and Quake2 on that sucker for a long time!

An 16 meg Voodoo something I think. I can remember when I bought it I told I would never need another video card.

My first one was a Matrox Mystique with 2 MB of vram. I remember it was bundled with Mechwarrior 2. I was also playing NHL 97 and Baldur's Gate at the time.

Latter I bought a Nvidia GeForce 256 with 32 MB of vram and then an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro with 128 MB of vram.

And then a ATI Radeon X1900 GT with 256 MB of vram. This one failed pretty fast and I then bought a GeForce 8800 GTS with 512 MB of vram.

EVGA - not sure the manufacturer, but it was in my original IBM PC (dual 5.25" floppy; when they were really floppy). Games I was playing: Kings Quest, Test Drive, Ace of Aces, Police Quest. Back when all u needed was DOS and a good autoexe.bin file

First VGA Card was a Trident Vesa Local Bus card.
First 3d card was my Diamond Nvidia Riva128
