Help me Guys, I'm currently using a g force fx 5200 and although its not the greatest of cards, i have managed to tweak it up a bit UNTIL NOW!!

Just recently the fan has become really noisy and whilst playing games i get a lag every 4 seconds or so,

Its very consistent throughout all the games and also in WINDVD when i roll a DVD on.

Does anyone know if i've buggrd my card by o'clocking or is it some thing else.

Not to much running in b'ground, no spyware or n e thing....

    Any help much appriece!!!

    Cheers WRIGGAZ

Are you using stock cooling while the card is "tweaked"

If so the card (CPU/memory/ or both) is probably just overheating. I would set the clock speed back to default, reinstall drivers, verify the BIOS has the AGP voltage to 1.6 or 1.7. If you are using stock cooling, replace it with something better.

    Bug

The 5200's tend to come with low end memory that gets really hot when over clocked. Thye GPU's run hot anyway. Get some ram heatsinks and a better fan and you should be able to OC with no problems. Might even be able to go a little higher. I got an 8500LE up to 300/600 from 250/500 with good cooling.
