workgroup not working

  1. just added a new member to workgroup

    had some issues with security settings (fixed that)
    then rebooted another workstation server
    it now cannot connect to 3 of the 5 machines (the 5th was off) on reboot turned on good to go
    the new machine can access all the others exceppt for the machine that I just booted
    have tried everything but it still connects by mapped drives?
    but I can't add anymore or see the workgroup
    now another machine needed reboot and that one has almost same thing it see's the new machine but none of the others
    all say (access denied) no other message no logs show problems

    to weird
