OK, so its been out for some months now but I've just managed to get my hands on the mighty Unreal 2 and what a game!
It plays smooth as caramel on my system (amd 1.7, softmodded radeon 9500np, turtle beach santa cruz,w2000k,512 ddr played at 1600 by 1200) and the sfx and graphics are truely stunning - for instance, the shadows cast by the giant spiders early on are really creepy and smoke and flame fx have in humble opinion never been bettered - congrats to everyone at infogrames for producing one of the best games I've come across in a long time.

I heard alot of negative opinions about Unreal II, but I bought and played it regardless. Personally, I thought it was an awesome experience. Def. not something I'm going to play through twice, but the first time through was thrilling. And the grafx were incredible...max it out.
