what is that thing called that allows u to write on cd's?

okay i figured out its LightScribe but does it only come with dvd burners? b/c i already have the best dvd burnder out there and i dont wna wast another 100$ just to have LightScribe. does any1 know if LightScribe comes with any cd burners or if its soled separatley?

CD/DVD burning software should have come with your DVD burner. Why not use that?

lightscribe is crap and it is only available as part of the new burners. lightscribe only burns at 2X adn takes 30 -40 minutes to burn a disk. plus the "lightscribing" will degrade over time or will degrade right away with prolonged exposure to bright light or direct sunlight.
