Ok, Ill start by saying "Who doesn't love Counter-Strike?" Well apparently, ASUS doesn't. Especially if you use Source SDK to build your own CS maps. The release notes suggest that if you are using an ASUS mobo, update the bios ASAP. Well I think its safe to say, that ASUS' update site SUCKS. very confusing and slow as ****. and not to mention, most of their updated bios' work WORSE than their factory set bios. Honestly, for a budget borad, asus all the way, but in the end, if you're really looking to play around with map editing, or any graphical editing what so ever (UT, VisualStudio, even Photoshop), stay away from asus. their chipsets can't handel it. Just some food for thought. :)

Interesting point.. There are several times I "upgraded" my bios only to have it work worse than before. However, this wasn't limited to just ASUS boards. I hvae had it happen with MSI as well. as for the asus site, sometimes you can find newer/better drivers elsewhere on the web.
