X1800GTO causing failure to restart PC

Hi,

My X1800GTO arrived yesterday and since I put it in, evertime I restart the PC I get one long beep and three short beeps, and because it is an American Megatrends BIOS this means that some recently installed memory is faulty and could be seated incorrectly.

So before I was going to take the side off and make sure it was in properly I went to get some food and when I came back I could start it up just fine with out any error codes and everything worked.

But, everytime I restart it now I get the error code and have to wait around 15 minutes until I can turn it back on. So, is this not a physical issue? Because I didn't have to touch any of the components.

Any ideas?

just try reaseating the memoryes you probably hit them or touched them when you installed the vid card.
