What temperature should my card run at?

I recently was playing some games and it was 75*C.. is this normal or do I need to worry?

Need some advice from peeps that know about these cards that is all..

cheers guys

Mine runs at around 50º idle, and 75º to 80º during game play. Although that is hotter than you'd like to see it, these cards are designed to run that hot, so it should be not problem.

Yes, those temps actually sound low.. hehe.

Pushing the X1900 series hard will usually yield peak operating temps from 78 to 86C I've seen typically. They have a peak operating temp of 100C so they are designed to run much hotter than normal GPU's.

Cheers guys

Thanks guys heart attack averted for now....

I must say that despite the fact that this card was quite expensive (compared to what else is out there) OMFG what a superb card! I am able to run every game that I have at maximum settings with anti aliasing to the max and get superb performance..

If anyone out there is intersted in getting a new graphics card you will have to look hard to get more satisfaction than from one of these X1900 series cards. Awesome is all that I can say!
