XBOX 360 noise

So i got my xbox 360 on saturday and it was playing great and everything, and then about 5 hrs later, i hear a kind of loud humming noise. I think its the fan. When i first got it and played, the fan was quiet and you could barely hear anything from the system and then later, you could definitely hear it. I havent moved it at all since i first opened it, any answers or solutions?

It could simply be that the system starts to run hot after some time & that's when the fans start spinning.

Make sure to keep the power brick away from the system, it will over heat the system if it is too close.

Symptoms of o/heating is screen siezure,black screen,flickering of pik , cnet would be the place to go to see the discussion or google for xbox o/heating

Tho we don't get our 360's till march my xbox1 tends to do that on certain games so i would'nt be too concerned
