XP logon screen problem

I just got a laptop with wide screen display, 1280 x 800.
I have a bunch of different logon screens but they are all in 1280 x 1024. how can i edit them to change the size, when i apply one it stretches it out to fit the screen.

any ideas, programs i can use to edit the picture?

quite simple..u can use any pro. tool like photoshop or any simple tool like the logon studio by stardock...try it...
