I recently re-installed my XP OS to my computer and my problem is some how I have three versions of XP in my computer now and only have 3 GB of drive space left..Does anybody know how I can install my XP and have only one version vs the three copies, what did I do wrong? Does anybody know of a web site where they have a step by step process of installing XP I can print out...And what are "partitions"(sp?) And what did I do wrong? Thank you.. :(

Start the install again and watch what options come up. You will get the option to format the partition/drive you want to install windows on. If you do that it will erase everything and give you a nice clean install of XP. You can also partition your drive during the install if you pay attention to the menus on the screen.
