XP restarts on bootup

    I have been running XP Prof for many months now with no problems.
    But recently XP boots up as normal and everything loads but then less than a minute later the screen just goes blank and it restarts!
    After it restarts the computer is fine and carries on as normal.

    I cant work out what is causing this problem.Any ideas??


    PC:
    1.5 GHZ AMD XP
    512MB DDR
    Asus Motherboard
    Radeon 9000 PRO 128MB
    120GB Maxtor HDD

    In the Event Viewer under System there is an error with Service Control Manager.

    The CAILI service failed to start due to the following error:
    The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

    and directly after that error

    Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the CAILI service to connect.

    this error seems to appear a lot, is this the problem?
