XP Setup Problems

hey

i have been running XP home on my machine for the past 6 months and i needed to format and reinstall but it wont go past the blue screen saying 'setup is starting windows' please help

Check to make sure the disk is not damamged, or dirty. That sould be the first step, write back if you have checked this and it is something else, and maybe with a few more details we can get you all straightened out.
