I have add a second gig of ram on my Gigabyte ga-7n400 pro 2 board, the ram is exactly the same as my first pair, Corsair 1GB memory module kit, but in windows xp pro it only show 1GB!!! i have update the bios and i have tested the ram, all ok, but still at 1GB, can someone help.

    Thanks.

if your BIOS will not recognize your extra ram, your problem is not to do with windows. check your settings. if bios finds it and says it's working, try updating windows. there could be a LOT of causes for this, and AMD based systems seem to have these kinds of problems often.

well, you probably have more than enough ram installed, your comp shouldn't miss that extra gig :)
