XP USRBRIDGE.exe problem on start up

    Hi

    I'm getting "Windows has a problem with USRBRIDGE.exe " would you like to report it every time on start up. Does anyone knwo how to get rid of this ? Grateful for any response as Microsoft site is devoid on any of this

    http://www.talkroot.com/archive/topic/10493-1.html seems to indicate that this file is related to Infrared capabilities.

    If you don't use infrared (most people don't) disable it in your Services and BIOS, and that should help.

    Please verify, though, that this file is "USRBRIDG.EXE" and not "USRBRIDGE.EXE" as you have posted.
