I got home last night to find my Dell off (when it is usually left on) and when I started it, it would not boot into XP.
I comes up saying it was not shut down properly, and gives as option to start in various modes from safe mode, through to the last known good configuration, but whatever option is selected, it just boots back showing the DELL logo, then Windows XP logo, then back to the same selection screen, with a 30 second timer, which just keeps rebooting from the start back to the screen saying it was not shut down properly and to choose an option.
Round and round in circles!!
What can I do?
