XP won't recognize EXT Drive formatted on MAC

    Oops, sorry. I deleted this post so as not to be a bother to others.

    In short, I couldn't get a Mac formatted hard drive to read when connected to a PC. I know I can format to fat32 within Mac's disk utility, but I couldn't back up the drive first, thereby losing all data.

    I found TRANSMAC which will allow my PC to read the drive. Its not a free program, but it has a FULL 30 day trial which is perfect if you only need to use it once like myself.

    In short, format your drive in fat32 with Mac's disk utility BEFORE loading files to be transferred.
