Yahoo email problems

I run the current Firefox with Yahoo as home page and email.

Every once in awhile Yahoo email will randomly refuse to send an email.
I get a dialogue box that say it can't send my email, and that if I'm
just sending a link (sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not) that I
should ad text. They claim they do this to stop scamming.
But I always DO have text in the email when I am sending a link.

What gives? Anyway to stop that?

I've tried to go to Yahoo email Help and all they do is send me to
an automated test to check MY computer and it always comes up OK.

So I've gone to an alternate email so I don't lose email capability when
that happens. If I wouldn't have been on Yahoo email for so long, I'd
totally switch to the other one. GMX has been problem free, provides
for the option of a Read Receipt, and a settable send timer to allow
time to change your mind on sending the email.

But it's only outgoing Yahoo email I have the problem on, I can always
get email on Yahoo as far as I know.

Thanks

"What gives? Anyway to stop that?" Add a statement before the link, like SEE THIS LINK ...

I just paste the link in after copying out of my Bookmarks folder,
or in some cases copy the URL out of the address bar from a
site in a different tab.

Most of the time that goes thru no problem, it seems totally random
when Yahoo email refuses to send it. And I can always go into Drafts
a little while later and send it no problem

And sometimes I'm not sending a link of any kind at all and it still
refuses to Send.

No real pattern to it.

the problem is not with there being a link, the problem is that Yahoo email
just randomly refuses to send ANY email for a time, with or without a link,
but always will send it some time later out of Drafts.

That is really odd because I use yahoo email & have never had a problem. I just pasted a link in & sent it to another email I have & no hassle, then I used the chain link icon & still no problem. Did both the above & no problem, perhaps its yahells problem & not you :) Good luck :)

I've got Yahoo mail + use Firefox. Never experienced such a problem. MAybe you need to clean your browser cache?
