Yep, I'm new--but old

  1. 67 year olds shouldn't be trying out new things. But I am and I am. I'm a retired English teacher (Ok, 90% of you just left the room. :D ) and I've done mostly word processing. I just started playing games (what else does a retired geezer do with his time) and found I primarily like the city building games. I played Ceasar 3 on GameTap and then went out and bought Ceasar 4. And found my Dell Dimension 2350 wouldn't play it. What a dork ! Since then, I've learned to add memory, add a video card and then decide that since the Dell can't be upgraded for more advanced games (3D, T&L, Pixel Shaders, etc.) I am going to sort of build me a new one--remember, on Social Security. Well, now you know a little about this new (old) guy. You'll probably see more posts in hardware and tweaking. Have a great weekend, Y'all.
