    Is there anyone that has this going with xp pro , do you have any problems with it , or should I just stick to xp pro sp2 ( use the built in one ).
    whats a good spyware software

    1.The free version of Zone Alarm is perfectly adequate for most people.
    If you combine it with Firefox or Opera there is no need for the bells and whistles that Pro provides.

    2.Any version of Zone Alarm is better than the native XP firewall.

    3.Anti-spyware :Ewido,Spybot,Ad-aware,Spyware Blaster.

    I use Firefox, and the free ZOne Alarm, Spyware Blaster and the free Ad aware software and I haven't had ANY issues with Malware for a long, long time...
    So definately add a software firewall on top of the Windows firewall. You need to see what programs are trying to access the internet.......

    I would avoid ZA like the plague
    get outpost very good firewall
    and should use a router firewall if you can
    DSL and cable connections apply only
