You can see more pics of the final version, with a comparison with the original DS @ lik-sang.com.

There's always ways to improve on an original design. Manufacturing costs go down, process shrinks allow to reduce the overall size, etc.

Sony did the same with the Playstation which becamse the PSone & the Playstation 2 turned into that slim PS2.

I for one see it as a good thing to always try & improve on something. The iPods keep getting facelifts too, nobody complaining there.

Hello, I am new at this but I have a problem. For the past 2 years my home is network. All laptops and CPu’s has been on line (wireless) until 2 months ago. Out of nowhere the computers will show a yellow shield on the connection icon and requires me to call my network provider. Well I did, I change my modem for a new one, and still, I have to unplug all the laptops or CPU’s to have only one on line. I’ve renewed manually the ip address for each one and only once I’ve been able to have then all on line, after that, the same happened.

What else could I do?

Umm... Please make a new thread about this in the "Storage and Networking" forum.

And unfortunately the ruthless and unforgiving Sony has forced Lik-Sang out of business...
